Team Fox Athletes Head to 2012 Olympic Marathon Trials

Team Fox member Kyle Shackleton ran with his twin brother, Drew, in the 2009 Chicago Marathon to raise funds for Parkinson’s disease and to honor their grandfather, who has PD. Together, they raised $25,000 towards the Foundation’s efforts to speed a cure.  Running towards a cure is a family affair for the Shackletons, as their sister Megan is also a Team Fox member and marathon runner and their father Woody is MJFF’s Board of Directors Chairman.

But the twins didn’t stop with the Chicago marathon — on January 14th they’ll be competing in the 2012 Olympic Marathon Trials. Check out the following interview with Kyle to find out what an average day looks like for this marathon runner: http://runnersfeed.com/kyle-shackletons-qualifying-story-raised-25000/#more-9825.
